Subnet 575 ran its first graded cycles on Bittensor’s public testnet. Two honest miners were credited on every job they ran. A lazy miner was never credited. The validator wrote its weights on chain, and the chain paid the honest miners 37% and 63% of subnet incentive — and the lazy miner nothing — for 13 consecutive epochs.

Who got credited
Each square is one job a miner was assigned. Filled means the validator verified the answer and credited it. Crossed means it was rejected and earned nothing.

Who got paid
Run 1 wrote weights before the subnet had an emission schedule or a staked validator, so no incentive could follow. Both were fixed the same evening, the same 24-job cycle was run again, and the chain paid from the second weight commit.

Incentive appeared at block 8,159,238, two epochs after the commit at block 8,158,518, and was paid every epoch through block 8,163,558 — about 14 hours — until the testnet’s activity cutoff retired the single weight commit. Scope of this record
A record is only as useful as its boundaries. This record is narrow on purpose.
What this record shows
- The payment gate works on a public chain. Honest answers were credited; a miner returning cheap guesses earned nothing in either tier.
- Both verification paths settle. Two-miner hash agreement and single-miner proof checks each settled 12 of 12 jobs.
- Weights follow verification. The validator’s on-chain weights went only to miners whose work checked out.
- Incentive follows weights. The chain paid the honest miners in the validator’s proportions, to four decimal places, and paid the lazy miner nothing.
What this record does not show
- Real model inference. Miners called a mock inference server paced at a measured 32.8 tokens/s.
- Real cryptographic proofs. Proven-tier proofs were mock objects with deliberate forgery cases.
- Privacy. No masked execution runs on the testnet yet.
- Independent operators. The validator and all three miners are run by the Blindproof team.
- Sustained payment. One weight commit, paid for 13 epochs until the testnet’s activity cutoff retired it; a validator that keeps weights current is the next build item.
- Fees, escrow, or recurring operation. Two graded cycles; no customer fees; nothing on mainnet. Test TAO has no value.
